Frankston City Council provides residents with one municipal wide free hard waste collection within each financial (rating) year. The annual hard waste collection for 2020/21 financial year concluded as of May 2021. The annual collection for 2021/22 financial year will be taking place at similar timing to last financial year however we do not have any specific dates as yet available, further information for dates will be provided to residents later in the financial year, via Council’s website and each resident will also receive notification within their individual letter boxes 2 weeks prior to collection for their area like previous years.
While the council provides one free hard waste collection per year, residents can book a paid hard waste collection at any time of the year. The paid collection allows you to dispose of household items up to 2m³ (2 cubic meters).
As part of Frankston City Council's Ratepayer Rewards, ratepayers can redeem a $25 discount on at-call hard waste collections. For more information on Ratepayer Rewards, please visit the Ratepayer Rewards page. To apply your $25 discount you must redeem your voucher when processing your At Call Hard Waste Collection booking.
