In line with current Victorian Chief Health Officer (CHO) directions, Frankston City Council has specific obligations in relation to the vaccination of our Volunteers. All Council Volunteers are required to be fully Covid-19 vaccinated in line with CHO directions. Volunteers are expected to comply with these requirements as part of the Volunteering selection process.
Council is currently recruiting volunteers for the following roles:
Outings and Excursions
The Outings and Excursions Program encourages older residents to participate in group outings. The outings are a fun way for people to socialise with other members of the community. Outings include lunches and morning teas at restaurants and cafes, trips to the movies and shows, visits to museums and gardens and day trips. Each outing is hosted by a Council staff member, and a volunteer accompanies each outing to support the group to socialise.
The program runs from Monday to Friday.
