Digital Customer Service and Marketing Masterclass Series
As we move into COVID revival Australians are looking for domestic travel experiences and destinations nearby to enjoy for short-stays and longer breaks.
To support Frankston City businesses to cut-through the crowded market space and give them the best chance at attracting a strong market share while international travel is restricted, Council has developed a Digital Customer Service and Marketing Masterclass Series.
This training has been developed for businesses which add to the liveability of our City and includes food and beverage venues, accommodation providers, activity centres, experiences and attractions and art galleries across the municipality.
The Series will focus on helping businesses to leverage digital platforms to engage with existing and new customer bases, improve their brand reputation and develop practical and cost effective activities to support business needs.
In addition to the Digital Marketing and Customer Service Masterclass, business can also nominate to participate in the Packaging and Experiences Masterclass. This in-depth short course will give businesses the tools needed to develop a unique package or experience to add to their core business offering.
All business which participate in the Packaging and Experience Masterclass will be eligible to apply for one of six $2,000 grants to create and sell a package or experience available between June and September 2021.
Participation in the Masterclasses is free for businesses. Council is asking interested business owners and managers to complete an expression of interest form for the program.
Packaging and Experience Masterclass Overview
While domestic tourism is on the cards, now is the time for your business to stand out from the crowd. Unique packages and experiences which are bookable in advance can support you to secure long-lead bookings and position your business as a must-visit destination for those looking for short to mid-term breaks.
In this training, businesses will be inspired to collaborate with their fellow peers for mutually beneficial outcomes, including and not limited to:
- Help establish the gaps that hold the greatest opportunities
- The benefits of packaging by showcasing other successful, effective packages
- A step-by-step packaging system they can apply to create your first package on the day!
Businesses will leave this training inspired to explore and create new cost-effective products and experiences to help grow their business, brand awareness and their bottom line.
Monday 26 April, 6pm – In-person networking session (1.5 hours)
Monday 3rd May, 6.30pm – Virtual Training Session (2 hours)
Any businesses which participate in Module 1 will be eligible to apply for a grants program for businesses to develop and sell a winter package or experience as a direct result of the training provided. Six $2,000 grants will be available.

Digital Marketing and Customer Service Masterclass Overview

The program will provide participants with the tools, skills and knowledge to develop practical and cost effective activities to achieve their objectives, build brand loyalty and support return visitation at each stage of the customer journey.
