Kerbside Dining Encouragement Grant
Note: On May 11 2020 Frankston City Council unanimously endorsed a $6.434 million enhanced Relief and Recovery Package as part of its proposed Annual Budget 2020–2021 to support local short, medium and long-term COVID-19 recovery initiatives. The Package includes a range of grant programs to support community groups, businesses, artists and sporting groups throughout our community. Details on how to apply for these grants is now being developed and will be released shortly. Please keep an eye on Council’s website for further details
The objective of the Kerbside Dining Encouragement Grant is to brighten and stimulate the city centre, by activating the streets with increased outdoor dining activity. This will be achieved by supporting new and existing food and drink businesses to increase alfresco outdoor dining opportunities
Council and the Victorian Government are working together to provide grants worth $2,000 each and city centre-based businesses can now apply for funds towards outdoor furniture and fittings.
Applications for 2020 are now closed. The next round of grant funding will open mid-2021.
