Expressions of Interest for the 2021-2022 Business Mentoring Coaching Panel are now open!
IF helping businesses set up, grow and succeed in Frankston City is your passion, then it’s time for us to collaborate.
Expressions of interest are being sought from successful business people in a wide range of industries to join Frankston City’s Business Mentoring Coaching Panel.
IF you’ve got the expertise and determination to mentor others, then you could join a team of dedicated panel members to provide business operators with free one-on-one personalised, independent and confidential advice from a panel of industry experts
The Business Mentoring Coaching Panel (BMCP) will assist Council in advising and guiding small business owners in Frankston City in a variety of business related areas, by conducting one-on-one coaching sessions on topics such as:
- Business management and strategic planning
- Digital strategy
- Marketing and social media management
- Recruitment and human resource management
- Business development
- Increasing profit and sales, and;
- Improving interior and exterior design outcomes
Members will be paid semi-voluntary (nominal fee).

Business Mentoring Program
Business mentoring will be held through a digital platform, as agreed by the business operator and the mentor.
Council has an experienced panel of business mentors with a variety of specialty in business proprietorship. Each business will be matched with a mentor based on their circumstances.
There will be no be face-to-face mentoring sessions in the foreseeable future.
To be eligible your business must be located within Frankston City.
The information that you provide to Frankston City Council and the Business Coach will be treated as commercial-in-confidence. Your contact information will only be used by Frankston City Council to communicate its business programs. No information identifying you or your business will be provided to any third party unless required by law. No data identifying a client or their business or details about their business has been, or will be, sold to third parties whatsoever. Before joining the Frankston City Council Small Business Coaching Program, all coaches must sign a strict confidentiality clause.
