Do It Outdoors – Destinations

Would you like to help ramp up outdoor activities in Frankston City and activate spaces to create places? It’s time to turn a blank canvas into a destination station.

Frankston City Council is calling for local commercial operators to apply to activate some of our most popular public open spaces as part of its Do It Outdoors – Destinations campaign.

Businesses can capitalise on our progressive region by setting up temporary, long term commercial operations in specific parks, public spaces and sites throughout Frankston City.

You can create energetic, magnetic locations for our community to enjoy on the regular and help make Frankston City become the epicentre of innovation, growth, industry, modernity and thinking.

Whether your business is to provide a nibble, sip, stomp, chill, play or shop, you can Do It Outdoors and bring your commercial activity to our public open spaces and help create Destinations for Frankston City.

From yoga in the park and food trucks at dusk, to volleyball on the beach or markets by the bay, our public open spaces are eager to thrive with a packed calendar of outdoor adventures and vibrant urban experiences.

IF you share the vision and the passion for what can be, then it’s your time to start forward thinking and help Council energise Frankston City.

Council’s Foreshore Reserve, Ballam Park, Beauty Park, Station Street Mall, Clyde Street Mall, Sandfield Reserve, Southgateway Reserve and Lyrebird Community Centre car park are available for twelve month licences in 2021-2022.

The online application form closes 5pm, Friday 24 September 2021.
