National trust Role

The National Trust of Australia (Vic) is a voluntary community-based organisation which lists and promotes the conservation of the State's heritage, including buildings, building groups, public art, industrial heritage, landscapes and gardens. It has no statutory power but seeks publicity to influence community attitudes and government policy.
