Cr Lillian O’Connor was elected to Frankston City Council in 2016 and represents the people of North West Ward. Lillian is a proud Seaford resident. She is a practicing lawyer and holds a double degree in Business and Law. She has volunteered with many local organisations, including the Peninsula Community Legal Centre in Frankston. Cr Lillian O’Connor has been elected by her fellow Councillors as Deputy Mayor for the 2017-2018 period.
Lillian has a strong sense of community and is committed to representing the interests of her community. She is a strong advocate for those without a voice and stands up for what is fair and just. Lillian wants to see a fair go for the people of the North West Ward, which will include renewed funding of local services and sporting and community infrastructure in the Ward.
Lillian’s key priorities will be:
- Achieving good value for money from rates
- Sensible and stronger fiscal management
- Improving local services and upgrading sporting and community facilities, park lands and open spaces, nature strips and other local infrastructure
