In light of the State Government revoking Frankston City Council's Tree Protection Local Law, Acting CEO Ossie Martinz reminds residents that the 10/30 right is only for bushfire protection, not an excuse to clear unwanted trees.

Frankston's Christmas Festival of Lights returns for its 12th year, in no small part thanks to Carrum Downs business Showtime Attractions, which has stepped forward to become naming rights sponsor for the popular event.
Frankston City's RECHARGE Scheme was launched in Carrum Downs in June, and is now expanding around the municipality, with 18 businesses on board. The program received a huge boost this month with Centro Karingal and Langwarrin Gateway Shopping Centre becoming new partners.
