Hard Waste Collection 2009

The time is here again to start clearing out your sheds and garages because Frankston City Council's kerbside hard waste collection program runs from Monday, 19 October to Friday, 13 November 2009.

The collection runs over a four-week period, and each household can place up to two (2) cubic metres, stacked into three neat piles - hard waste, steel and greenery. A maximum of two (2) mattresses will be collected from each household. Demolition material and builders rubble will not be accepted.

Download a copy of the waste collection map for your area dates and a copy of the brochure.

Hard Waste Brochure 2009

Each household will receive a brochure in their letterbox approximately two weeks prior advising the collection date and specific information about what will and will not be collected. The collection dates are printed on the front of each brochure.

Material must be out by 6:00am on the collection date shown on the brochure but no more than two days prior to the collection date.

Goods must be manually lifted onto the collection truck, so it is important all items can be lifted to shoulder height by one person. Items should also be no longer than 1.5 metres, with the only exception being mattresses. (See brochure for further details)

All items placed out on the nature strip for collection becomes the property of Council and the hard waste contractor. Unauthorised removal of hard waste from the nature strip is theft. Frankston City Council may issue on-the-spot fines of $200 or prosecute offenders. Please report scavenging offences to 9768 1500.
