The Baxter Park Master Plan was presented to Council for endorsement in July 2004.  The Master Plan recognised two options regarding the development of multi-use facilities, leaving the final direction to be decided by Council.  Further consultation was undertaken with Baxter Park user groups to investigate the possibility of a multi-use facility.

The outcomes were presented as part of the final report with Council unanimously accepting the report and Master Plan.  The report refers specifically to the development of multi-use facilities, consistent with Council policy in this area.  The relevant excerpt is attached and should be read in conjunction with the Baxter Park Master Plan.
