The Arboretum has become a very attractive local park, extremely popular for outdoor weddings and photographs. It is an ideal educational facility that can be appreciated by inexperienced and experienced gardeners and tree lovers alike. There is off-street parking at the Edward Street entrance, and a Rotunda available for shelter. 

Opening Hours:

• Sunday to Friday: April to October 7:30am - 6:00pm and
  November to March 7:30am - 8:00pm 
• Saturdays closed (by appointment only) 

The Arboretum may be booked by prior arrangement for private events such as weddings, christenings, photographs, etc. by telephoning Customer Service on 1300 322 322, or can be made in person at the Civic Centre.

Consumption of alcohol is prohibited at all times and vehicles are not permitted to enter the gardens.

Use of confetti is also prohibited in the garden or car park, however rice or rose petals may be used.
