Scott Tennant (Motocross)

Scott Tennant, 15, from Carrum Downs, is an emerging star in the sport of motocross. The Frankston City Motorcycle Club member recently returned from the Australian Motocross Titles in Coolum,Queensland in September where he competed in the 125cc 13-15 years age group. 

The championships were Scott's first Australian titles and despite significant trouble with his bike he managed to qualify for the final out of 80 competitors.  He eventually finished 37th in the event.

This performance follows Scott's top eight finish in the 125cc section of the 2005 Victorian Supercross Championships earlier in the year and third in the recent regional Gippsland Centre Championships in Traralgon.

Scott competed at the Oceania Motocross Championships on 12 November in Geelong with juniors from various parts ofAustralia against riders from New Zealand.

Scott attends Monterey Secondary College in Frankston North.
