Boat launching
Council provides boat launching ramps at Olivers Hill and Kananook Creek. Both facilities are only suitable for small craft. Parking fees apply.

Launching is into the Kananook Creek. The creek is shallow at low tide and the entrance of the creek to Port Phillip is prone to silting. Users should check entrance and tide conditions before launching. Council undertakes a dredging program on a monthly basis but does not guarantee that the entrance will be navigable at any time.For information on dredging, go to Kananook Creek dredging.
Parking fees
Parking fees apply at both launching facilities from 1 November to 31 October.
Boat Launching Permit Application

- Annual pass (resident) $35
- Annual pass (non-resident) $70
Annual passes are available from 1 October at the Civic Centre, Young Street, Seaford and Langwarrin Shops.
