Frankston City Council is currently refurbishing, rebuilding, or demolishing the municipality's 60 public conveniences, taking the facilities out of the bluestone age to meet community expectations.
For the provision of safe, accessible, clean and environmentally responsible public toilets, Council has committed $500,000 a year for the next five years in its forward capital budget. Council has also established a Public Toilet Working Group responsible for implementing the Public Toilet Strategy and Design Guidelines (Acrobat PDF file - 466 KB). These guidelines set a standard for new and refurbished public toilets in the municipality.
Ballam Park Play Ground Facilities
Frankston City Council has rebuilt the Ballam Park playground facilities. Ballam Park is a priority area for Frankston City because of its high level usage and family orientation.

Samuel Sherlock Reserve
The Samuel Sherlock Reserve public toilets have been successfully completed and were launched on the 27 September, 2007.
Key Street Pubic Toilet
Please see link. A fully accessible public toilet was opened in Keys Street, Frankston in 2008.
Frankston City Council, in cooperation with Peninsula Access Support and Training (PAST) were succesful in receiving a $200,000 grant from the Changing Days Funding Program, to provide for ongoing support and services for residents and visitors to Frankston City.
Playne Street
Council is currently upgrading the Playne Street Toilet facility.
