The new facility is located at 5-7 Keys Street Frankston, near the corner of Wells Street, and provides public toilet and change facilities that have not been previously available in the City Centre.
The facility offers universal male and female toilets, a children's toilet, baby feeding and change rooms, as well as two fully accessible toilets for people with a disability, which feature hoists and adult change facilities. Users will need to provide their own sling for the hoist facility.
The facility will be open business hours each day, with extended hours (9:00pm close) on Thursdays and Fridays, while one accessible toilet will be available to people with an MLAK Key 24 hours, seven days a week.
The MLAK key is available to people with a disability at a small cost from local Master Locksmiths on the presentation of written authority from a doctor, disability support organisation or community health centre. Holders of parking permits may also obtain letters of authority from Council.
MLAK keys are available to use from the Visitor Information Centre, Civic Centre, Safer City Centre and Youth Resource Centre. Slings are available for hire from the Visitor Information Centre.
