Permit status

You can view the status of a Town Planning application by searching on the Planning Register (Select link below) or alternatively contacting the Planning Department on (03) 9784 1733.

Pre-application meetings

Pre-application meetings can be organised by contacting the Planning Department on (03) 9784 1733. Please leave your contact details and information regarding your proposal and site address.

The next available Planner will contact you to organise a meeting time that is suitable for both parties. Please ensure that you have all relevant documents and plans for this meeting.

Extend planning permits

An extension of time can be made prior to the permit expiring or within 3 months of this date. This must be done by submitting a written request or completing:

Please note that there is a fee for an application for an extension of time which must be paid at the time of lodging the request.

Amend planning permits

An Application to Amend a Planning Permit can be done by completing the Application to Amend a Planning Permit form and submitting it along with all the relevant information e.g. plans, completed form, current copy of title, written reports and appropriate fee, to the Town Planning Department either by mail or in person.
