Building Permits
Buildings such as dwellings, dwelling additions, dwelling alterations, garages, carports, verandas, pergola's, fences, swimming pools, etc typically require a Building Permit in accordance with the Building Act 1993 and the Building Regulations 2006.
How do I get a Permit?
It is anticipated that a Building Permit will be assessed within 10 working days of the date of lodgement.
A estimation with respect to the issuing of a Building Permit is reliant upon the applicant providing suitable documentation, clearly demonstrating compliance with relevant legislation, etc to the satisfaction of the Municipal Building Surveyor.
Variation Application
Applicable application form that relates to an existing building permit where a variation to the existing building permit is sought.
