A pension rebate is a rebate off your rates.

Who is entitled to Pension Rebate?

Social Security and Veterans' Affairs pensioners may be entitled to a State Government rebate on their principal place of residence.

To be eligible for the rebate, the ratepayer must be the holder of a current:

• Pensioner Concession Card issued by Centrelink or the Department of Veterans Affairs, (DVA), or
• DVA Gold Card - Totally and Permanently incapacitated (TPI), or
• DVA Gold Card - War Widow (WW)

To be granted the rebate you need to complete an application form, which is available from any of the following Council service outlets:

• Civic Centre - Davey Street, Frankston
• Langwarrin Shop - Gateway Shopping Village, Langwarrin
• Seaford Shop - 120 Nepean Highway, Seaford
• Carrum Downs Library - 203 Lyrebird Drive, Carrum Downs
