Athletics

Frankston City has many Athletics clubs throughout the municipality; catering to junior and senior athletes. The junior clubs are part of the Victorian Little Athletics Association, and the senior clubs are part of Athletics Victoria.

Ballam Park is the home of Athletics in Frankston City; its facilities include an all weather synthetic track with electronic timing and lighting for twilight meetings, a new club pavilion, modern change rooms and showers, an excellent weight training room, a large function room, throwing and jumping facilities, equipment and implements used for track and field events, extensive parklands for runs and walks and video training and analysis.
