List of Permits

Council Compliance Officers are authorised under Local Law No. 7 - General to issue permits.

Permits may be issued subject to certain conditions being met, and often include a fee.

Annual Waste Bin Shipping Container

This permit allows the applicant (Supplier) to place one (1) item per day on a naturestrip/road within the Frankston municipality over 365 days of the year.

Suppliers will need to submit an application form (Notification of Placement of Waste Bin/Shipping Container) with the required documentation for each item placed on a naturestrip/road within the Frankston municipality.

An annual fee applies to this permit.

This annual permit only allows for the placement of one (1) item per day on a naturestrip/road within the municipality. Any additional items to be placed on the same day will require a separate application form (Casual Waste Bin/Shipping Container Permit Application Form) to Council where a casual rate will be applied for any additional item(s).

Note:  Suppliers may apply for more than one (1) annual permit.

Suppliers will need to submit an application with the required documentation for each item placed on a naturestrip/road within the municipality 48 hours prior to the placement of the item.

Council will issue a permit (subject to approval) to the supplier for each application submitted.

Casual Waste Bin Shipping Container

This permit allows the Supplier to place an item on a naturestip/road within the municipality.  An application form with the required documentation and payment must be submitted to Council for each item placed on a naturestrip/road within the municipality 48 hours prior to placement of the item. A permit will be issued (subject to approval) by Council for each application submitted. Items must not be placed without a valid permit issued.

Holders of an Annual Permit who wish to place additional items on a naturestip/road in the municipality that is outside of the conditions of their current annual permit are required to complete this form and submit to Council with the required documentation and payment 48 hours prior to placement of the item. A permit will be issued (subject to approval) by Council for each application submitted. Items must not be placed without a valid permit issued.

A casual rate applies to this permit.
