Seaford

The Local Community Plan for Seaford was updated in 2015 with input from over 400 local community members.

Contributions from local residents, community groups and businesses were received through conversations at a range of listening posts throughout Seaford and by contributions sent via post and email. People’s responses related to the following three questions:

  • What do you like most about your area?
  • What do you like least about the area?
  • What are your priorities for the next 10 years?

Responses helped enable us to draft a Local Community Plan which reflects the aspirations and interests of the Seaford Community.

The key priority areas identified by community members who contributed to the plan are:

Priority 1: Retaining Village Life

Priority 2: Encouraging a green Community

Priority 3: Creating Employment and Education for the Future

Priority 4: Caring for Our Community

Priority 5: Improving Our Facilities

This Plan will help to guide Council’s decision making over the next four years.
