Frankston Central and Frankston Heights
Council has consulted with over 300 people including residents, local businesses, community groups and service providers to develop a new Local Community Plan for the Frankston Central/Frankston Heights area. The Plan will help to inform Council’s decision making in the area over the next four years.
The five priority areas identified for Frankston Central/Heights are:
- Improving the perception of Frankston
- Improving and extending accessibility within the area
- Encouraging enjoyment of Frankston’s opens spaces and foreshore
- Helping to create a healthy community
- Strengthening the local economy.
Projects and/or strategies have been identified by the community to help to realise the community’s priorities for their area. A copy of the Local Area Plan is available under the Related Documents.
Council would like to hear from community members interested in working alongside Council to deliver the priorities and actions contained within this Local Area Plan.
If you would like to take part in making these actions happen or would like more information about Local Area Planning, please contact us.
