Municipal Health and Wellbeing Plan
Frankston City Council’s 2013 -2017 Health and Wellbeing Plan represents significant engagement and partnership of community members and organisations’ efforts to achieving a healthy and connected community.
There have been some important changes in the health environment over the past two years with the advent of the Australian Governments’ Health Reform Agenda and the National Primary Health Care Strategic Framework to which both the Federal and the Victorian State Government are signatories. These new policies are instrumental in achieving improvements in health services and in particular the ease with which people can navigate the service system.
Council’s new Health and Wellbeing Plan acknowledges these new directions and has worked closely with the key health stakeholders to improve the alignment of efforts, resources and services to our community.
Strategic Framework for Young People
