Miscellaneous Grants

2017-2018 Miscellaneous Grants Program
Open on Saturday 1 July 2017

The Miscellaneous Grants Program has grants available all year. A Committee allocates grants monthly to residents of Frankston City.

The six categories are:

  • Special Category funded by Cricket Victoria
    This funding is provided by Cricket Victoria and is open to children and young people 6-18 years, residing in Frankston, needing assistance to join cricket clubs. Applicants must hold a health care card or pension concession card.
      
     
  • Charitable Support Grants
    Support for not for profit community groups or individuals that are fundraising for charitable activities 
     
  • Community Group Membership Drive
    Funding for groups who can show a decline in membership to recruit new people 

  • Inclusion Support Grants (Grants to Get Kids Active)
    Open to children and young people 6-18 years, residing in Frankston, needing assistance to join local sports clubs. Applicants must hold a health care card or pension concession card 
      
  • Quick Response Grants
    One off bridging financial support to groups who have missed the annual community grants process 
      
  • Representative Support Grants
    Open to any Frankston resident who is representing the municipality in a positive way
