  • 2011 Sustainable Cities - Young Leader - a group award presented to Frankston High School for their Regional Environment and Sustainability Conference. 
  • 2011 Clean Beaches Dame Phyllis Frost Award - awarded to well known local Kath Hassell, for her passionate environmental leadership and field work on Frankston City's beaches.

  • National Award for Excellence in Local Government - for our 'Splash Card' initiative

The Splash Card promotes City Centre businesses and local job opportunities to students. The initiative was selected as the National Winner as it represents a model other municipalities around Australia can implement to strenghten their local economy.
