Reference and Information

During library opening hours, qualified library staff are on duty to assist the public with finding the information and resources they require.

Catalogue terminals are available within the libraries for the public to search for information. The library's catalogue is also available on the Internet.

Computer and Internet Access

The Librarys Windows based PCs feature Internet and email access plus Microsoft Office software for word processing, spread sheets and presentations. Colour printing is also available. Bookings are essential, either by phoning the Frankston Library on 9784 1020 or the Carrum Downs Library on 9782 0418 during opening hours, or by using our online Book a Computer facility.

You can also use your Frankston Library Membership card to access the computers at Council's Langwarrin Shop and Seaford Shop..

Photocopying

Both black and white and colour photocopiers are available at the Frankston and Carrum Downs libraries.

Home Library Service

Library resources can be delivered to people who are unable to come to the library due to illness, frailty, disability or are unable to carry items home. If you, a family member or friend require this service, or if you are interested in becoming a volunteer to assist in the provision of this service, please contact the Library on 9784 1020.

Talking Newspapers

A free talking newspaper service is run in collaboration with the National Information and Library Service for people with print disabilities. Volunteers are invited to help with the delivery of this service. Newspapers covered by this service include:

• Local Newspapers: Frankston Leader, Frankston Independent, Mornington Peninsula Leader.
• Dutch Language: Dutch Courier
