Frankston Regional Men's Wellbeing Alliance (FRMWA)

The Frankston Regional Men's Wellbeing Alliance (FRMWA) has been established from an identified need to improve the partnerships and services for men and boys in Frankston.
It aims to bring services from across Frankston and surrounds together to share information, build linkages and create opportunities to offer more services to strengthen families with a focus on men's health and wellbeing. FRMWA is supported by Frankston Council in collaboration with local services to provide opportunity for services to meet regularly, identify gaps and improve access to services for men and boys across the region.
Vision and Objectives
The Frankston Regional Men's Wellbeing Alliance vision is improved health and wellbeing of men, boys and families.
Frankston Regional Men's Wellbeing Alliance aims to:
- Bring local services together to work collaboratively to promote the health and wellbeing of men, boys and families
- Share information, knowledge and resources
- Promote existing services
- Identify and address gaps in service provision
- Engage with men and boys in the community effectively
- Advocate for the development of men's health and wellbeing
- Increase awareness and improve men's access to health and wellbeing services and information
- Strengthen referral pathways for local services and programs
Terms of Reference
Membership
Membership to the Alliance will include all services that share common goals and objectives and agree to the vision, aims and Terms of Reference of Frankston Regional Men's Wellbeing Alliance. Membership will be encouraged from agencies and groups that support the vision and objectives.
