The Mayoral Charity Golf Day event, held in September 2007, helped to raise funds for this year's nominated charity, City Life Inc, a local charitable organisation that provides meals for the disadvantaged. To meet demand for its meals, the facility needs a major refurbishment and Frankston City Mayor, Councillor Glenn Aitken, is delighted that the Charity Golf Day will help achieve this.
