Arts Access in partnership with VicHealth

Promoting Mental Health and Wellbeing through the arts

Frankston Arts Centre - Arts Access aims to reduce the barriers that stop some people from attending - be they financial, physical, psychological or perceived.

Many people already benefit from the social and emotional aspects of the arts and with our help many more could benefit. We're working with the community to increase options for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, with a particular focus on people with mental health issues.

The aim is to increase access to the Franskton Arts Centre (FAC) through participation, performances and events.

Recent exciting initiatives have been launched. GET A TASTE FOR THE ARTS!

The Ticket Subsidy Scheme  (Acrobat PDF file - 133 KB) - creating opportunities for economically disadvantaged and socially isolated individuals facing issues of mental health to access the FAC events and programs at a reduced rate or free.

FAC Free Guided Tour Program  (Acrobat PDF file - 131 KB) - providing an opportunity for individuals and groups to experience a behind the scenes look the workings of the FAC.

ALL ABOUT US - A how to access the FAC guide? - providing information on the FAC, how to book a ticket? How to get there? What happens at a FAC event? What to wear? And anything else you wanted to know about coming to an event at the FAC.

GET A TASTE FOR THE ARTS! brochures will be sent to individuals, agencies, community groups and organisations and are available at the FAC.
