He is a columnist with The Australian, MELBOURNE magazine and Property Australia and is the author of the popular best-selling book The Big Shift: Welcome to the Third Australian Culture. On the 7th May 2007, Bernard presented a compelling case for continual learning based on the pace of change in the workplace and on the home front. He argued that Generation Y in particular will have to re-skill several times over in their lifetimes to manage jobs that have yet to be defined in industries that are fledging. |
