Council's Marketing Development Unit regularly consults with the community -- residents, businesses and visitors -- on a range of services and key issues.
Each year, the Community Research Unit undertakes an extensive community consultation survey aimed at identifying what you consider important about the provision of our services, and how well you feel we have performed in the past 12 months.
Research methodology includes self-administered surveys, phone polls, face-to-face interviews and focus groups. This research is crucial to the future planning of services within the municipality and will help to shape your community in years to come.
What's On...
The Marketing Development Unit is currently analysing the results from the Domestic Animal Management Plan survey which was distributed at the end of May. In the coming weeks, a draft report will be developed and available for public comment.
Council is also about to undertake a survey within Frankston City News to discover what our local residents do during their holidays. Do you stay in Frankston and utilise our activities and attributes or do you travel elsewhere? We want to know what your holiday habits are! To participate in this survey, stay tuned to this page for the survey link, or get your August edition of Frankston City News.
The Community Research Unit underpins Council's response to Best Value legislation by identifying general issues of concern for community advocacy purposes, and also ensures that Council's services meet community expectations in relation to access, cost, quality and responsiveness. Research results are regularly reported back to the community through this Web site and local newspapers.
