Amendment C24 - Independent Panel Report 

A three person Independent Panel, appointed by the Minister for Planning, conducted a public hearing at Frankston over four days in November 2005.

The Panel heard from 21 submitters and considered all 95 written submissions received by Council following the exhibition of Amendment C24.

The Panel's report and recommendations are now available and can be viewed using the following link C24 Panel Report. The report recommends that Council adopt Amendment C24 subject to a number of changes. Most of the recommended changes are those that Council had previously agreed to support after considering the submissions.

It is expected that the panel's recommendations will be considered by Council in June 2006.
