Bay Friendly Businesses
Frankston City Council, in conjunction with Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) and 3199 Frankston Beach Patrol, will be working with businesses within the Frankston city centre from October 2017 to March 2018, as part of the Bay Friendly Businesses program. The purpose of this program is to improve waste management and infrastructure to help prevent waste and litter entering Port Phillip Bay.
Throughout the program, Council will be providing education and ideas to help businesses improve waste management practices and identify opportunities for waste reduction and possible cost savings.
Businesses that improve their waste management may have the opportunity to be promoted as a ‘Bay Friendly Business’ to acknowledge their participation and work well done.
For more information on the program please contact Council.
Frankston City Council acknowledges the support of the Victorian Government.
