Economic Development is the important link between the business community and Frankston City Council.  Through its programs Economic Development aims to develop an environment that promotes prosperity for business.  All businesses are encouraged to become involved with Council through the Economic Development team.  Some of the initiatives that the Economic Development team undertakes are:

Online Business Directory - www.BusinessFrankston.com.au

The Online Business Directory  is your one stop destination for business in Frankston, Langwarrin, Seaford, Karingal, Carrum Downs, Skye, Baxter, Frankston South and Sandhurst. Over 5000 businesses are listed and you can search for businesses by name, location or category.  If your business does not have a listing click here  to register.


Business Visitation Program

The Business Visitation Program is designed to establish how Frankston City Council can assist businesses through resources, information and business coaching.  The program is open to all businesses within the Frankston municipality.  For more information click here.


Business Coaching

Frankston City Council conducts a number of business coaching events throughout the year. Issues covered include topics such as marketing, recruiting staff, home-based business coaching, Web site production and promotion, strategic planning and much more. Click here for more information


Newsletter - Business Connections

Frankston CAD Retail Strategy and Place Making

Frankston City Council, in partnership with the Frankston Business Chamber and Bayside Shopping Centre, independent business operators and land owners/managers, is working on a series of activities and projects to develop a vibrant and active city centre for the whole community.
