EOI - Assessment Panel for the Frankston City Business Grants Program

Frankston City Council is seeking expressions of interest for a number of highly skilled individuals to become members of an Independent Panel which will assess applications submitted for Council's Business Grants Program.

Expressions of interest close at 5pm on Friday 10 August 2018.

About the Frankston City Business Grants Program

Frankston City Council issues a limited number of business grants of up to $30,000 in a competitive merit-based program held annually.

Program objectives include:

  • Employment Creation
  • Building a resilient local economy
  • Activating commercial precincts
  • Enhancing the city’s reputation
  • Positioning Frankston as the Startup Capital of the South East

Panellists will be required to spend up to 15 hours assessing all grant applications and meet once to make a final determination on which applications to recommend to Council for support.

Panellists will be required to assess applications via Smarty Grants (individually) between Monday 15 October and Friday 26 October 2018.

Panellists will then be required to convene as a group for half a day on Tuesday 30 October to make a final determination on grant recipients. Further details will be confirmed following the selection of the panel.

Submitting an Expression of Interest

Panellists will be paid a set nominal fee for their involvement.
