Some of the exciting activities and displays in the Environment Hub are:

• The Energy Trailer - Interactive displays on renewable energy technologies such as solar, solar-thermal, wind and hydro energy
• The Melbourne Water Baan Model - Baan is the Wurundjeri word for water. An interactive model of an urban catchment, showing connections between people, waterways and our bays
• Dolphin Research Institute - learn about our local marine treasures in a fun "beach mysteries" interactive session on the beach
• Seaweed Sally - touch, feel and experience some extraordinary small sea creatures in a "touch tank"
• Vasily's Garden - the entertaining personality from the TV show will be running a session on how to have a sustainable summer garden - composting, mulching, using your grey water
• The Connies - roving environmental entertainers
• South East Water - information on more ways to save water, grey water use, and fun children's activities
• Other displays include - electric bicycles, worm farms, composting, natural reserves and friends groups, indigenous nursery
