Australia Day 2010 Citizen and Young Citizen Awards

Australia Day, 26 January, the biggest day of celebration in the country is observed as a public holiday in all states and territories.

Each year on this day, we come together as a nation to celebrate what's great about our nation and being Australian.

Citizen of the Year Award Nomination Form - 2010

The Awards provide Frankston City with an opportunity to recognise individuals within the local community who have made noteworthy contributions during the current year and/or have given outstanding service to the local community over a number of years.

The Young Citizen of the Year Award recognises those young people who are outstanding and exceptional young Australians. To be eligible, the person must be under 27 years of age on 26 January 2010.

The Australia Day Citizen of the Year recognised those aged 27 years or older who are outstanding and exceptional Australians.  To be eligible, the person must be 27 years or older on 26 January 2010.

Forms must be completed and returned by Friday, 27  November 2009 to Lisa Hughes, Governance Officer, Franston City Council, PO Box 490 FRANKSTON 3199.
