Public Arts Program

Frankston City has around 50 installations, large and small, at various sites across the Municipality. The development of program in Frankston is predicated upon the idea that public art components are more successful and sustainable if they are site-specific and integrated into other key infrastructure works around the City.

Council also operates the White Street Project (WSP) producing around 12 ephemeral projects per year in and around Frankston. WSP projects are focused upon early to mid career artists working within a contemporary arts practice in the public realm.
