Electoral Representation Review

Frankston City

The Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) is currently conducting an electoral representation review of Frankston City Council. The review will look at:

  • what is an appropriate number of councillors for the municipality;
  • whether the municipality should have wards or be unsubdivided; and
  • if the municipality is to have wards, how many wards there should be, the names of the wards, the number of councillors per ward and the ward boundaries.

Everyone in the City is invited to contribute to the review through written submissions. Information in submissions can help by providing local knowledge and perspectives. The VEC will consider the ideas in submissions and will also look at demographics, the municipality's growth potential and the situation in similar municipalities.

To find out more or have your say on the electoral representation review, visit vec.vic.gov.au/reviews or call 131 VEC (131 832).
