The Frankston Foreshore Development is a major project that will significantly lift the profile of Frankston City as a regional tourism and service centre.Frankston is a key regional centre servicing a broad and diverse area. Frankston's Central Activities District (CAD) is located directly adjacent to the foreshore with some of the best beaches on Port Phillip Bay. Frankston City Council recognises the importance of these links and is currently on the cusp of an ambitious program of urban renewal that will create a world-class foreshore environment bringing tourist investment and a new sense of pride to the community.
The project has a strong base, founded in a number of Council-endorsed strategic documents that will help guide the City's future.
