EastLink (formerly known as the Mitcham-Frankston Freeway)
Work on EastLink, Australia's biggest road project, has now started at a number of locations along the 40-kilometre project route. With a construction cost of $2.5billion, the project will employ thousands of workers until completion in 2008.
Frankston City recently co-hosted a Community Forum on the project. The evening provided interested residents an opportunity to view the project designs first-hand and discuss the project one-on-one with key officers from ConnectEast and Thiess John Holland.
