Donations

I Love Frankston Daisy

There are many ways that you can donate or give to the Frankston Community Fund. You may choose to make an individual donation, initiate or participate in a workplace giving program, make a bequest or establish a commemorative or memorial sub-fund within the Frankston Community Fund. As a business you can give to the Fund through sponsorship, event support and workplace giving.

An Individual Donation

All donations to the Frankston Community Fund are managed by the Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation. If you want to make an individual donation you can do so online at the Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation website or by telephoning 9633 0000. If you would like to discuss any of the other options, please contact us at the Frankston Community Fund on 9784 1764.

For individuals, one of the easiest ways to support the Frankston Community Fund is by making a donation. You can make a regular donation for as little as $1 or $2 per week or you may choose to make a one-off donation to the Fund - it's up to you. All donations to the Frankston Community Fund of $2 or more are fully tax deductible.

Workplace Donation

You may also chose to participate in a workplace giving program through your employer and direct your donations to the Frankston Community Fund. Workplace giving donations are deducted from your salary before tax, potentially reducing your taxable income. That means you receive a tax benefit immediately rather than having to wait until the end of financial year.

If your workplace has an existing workplace giving program all you need to do is complete a Frankston Community Fund Workplace Giving registration form, ask your Payroll Officer to deduct your nominated donation from your gross (pre-tax) salary each pay period and send a copy of the completed form to the Frankston Community Fund. In some cases, your employer may match your donations dollar-for-dollar - be sure to ask them.

Establishing a Sub-Fund

Establishing a sub-fund is another way of supporting the Frankston Community Fund. A sub-fund may be set up in the donor's name, a business name, family name, in memorial of a loved one or anonymously and can be directed to support general charitable purposes or can be tailored to a specific field of interest or even a specific charitable organisation. Sub-funds can be created within the Frankston Community Fund with a minimum contribution of $2,000.

Making a Bequest

You may also consider a bequest to the Frankston Community Fund. All you need to do is seek advice from your solicitor or legal advisor about the correct wording for your will and contact us to discuss your wishes. The bequest may be named or anonymous and you can take great pleasure in knowing that through a bequest to the Frankston Community Fund you will create a lasting legacy for the Frankston community.

Corporate Support

Businesses can provide direct support to the Frankston Community Fund by sponsoring and attending Fund events, donating items for auction at fundraising activities or hosting fundraising events on behalf of the Fund. Your staff can also support the Frankston Community Fund through a workplace giving program. If your business doesn't have a workplace giving program, let us help you! It's very easy to set up and won't create extra work for your Payroll Officer. Simply contact us today on 03 9784 1764 to discuss ways that your business can support the Frankston Community Fund.
