How To Pay My Rates

All Council payments can be made at any of our Customer Service Centres by EFTPOS, Cash, Cheque or Money Order. Cheques and Money Orders can also be posted.

BPay    bpay

Contact your participating financial institution to pay from your cheque, savings or credit card account. Please note you will need to quote the Biller Code and your BPay Reference Number, as indicated on your rates notice.

Direct Debit

The direct debit option is available for payment of instalments by:

  • 30th September 
  • 30th November
  • 28th February 
  • 31st May

Or payment in full by 15th February.

Accounts will debited on the dates listed above, or the next business day.

Please Note: Direct Debit is not avaliable on Credit Cards.

  • Call 1300 721 138 to pay by MasterCard or Visa. A push button phone is required for this service. Please have your credit card details ready, together with the reference number shown on your notice and the amount to pay.

Financial Hardship

In the event you are unable to pay your rates and charges within the required timeframe/s, please contact Council immediately to discuss a suitable payment arrangement, otherwise legal fees may be incurred.

Applications for Financial Hardship assistance must be provided in writing, along with supporting evidence of hardship.
